Bridgwood Cup of Knowledge Rockrose Cistus

Bridgwood was one of the six that joined the consortium that built an old-fashioned bottle kiln at the British Empire Exhibition at Wembly in 1924 - 1925 and co-licensed the cartomancy design of the Cup of Knowledge. For reasons unknown to me, Bridgwood Cup of Knowledge sets are less common than those by some of the other potteries.
This cup features the design of a Cistus or Rock Rose in addition to the 52 playing cards. You can tell it is a Bridgwood by its slightly "squished" looking handle, a characteristic shpe of that manufacturer.
