Russian Samovar Gift Shop and Tea Room, Nikolaevsk, Alaska, online photo, circa 2019. Russian tea and traditional Russian food is served at a horseshoe-shaped counter in this small but crowded establishment. The proprietor, Nina K. Fefelov, was born in Russia and worked there as an electrical engineer until she emigrated to Alaska in 1991. She opened the Gift Shop in in 1995 and added Tea Room service in 2001.
