The majority of fortune telling tea cups and saucers, including the originals of the three most influential designs -- the astrological Cup of Fortune, the cartomantic Cup of Knowledge, and the symbological Signs and Omens -- were made in England.
Most English cup and saucer sets marked for tasemantic readings are made of bone china; a few are earthen ware or semi-vitreous ironstone.
